Exquisite tunnel designed by Ad van der Steur to replace the old ferry boats. In 1942 it became the second connection to the south bank of the city.

It's a great experience to ride under the river, in this piece of infrastructure built only for cyclists.

Opened in 1942 it survived WWII and recently became a national monument. There is a separate part for cyclists and pedestrians. The lowest part is 20 metres below sea level.
